Welcome to my biology blog named “Biolicous”. I hope my blog would be enjoyed and benefit you. First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I am Kamilah binti Mohammad Noor. I was born on 17th Jun 1985 in Besut, Terengganu. I am a simple and easy going person, love to make friends and networking with many peoples. I love sewing and cooking. Besides success in education field, I always dream my own boutique and restaurant. I believe, the triumph will come with effort.
I have my early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tempurong, Besut. After standart six, I have my secondary school at Sekolah Tun Fatimah, Johor Bahru. Before I further my first degree at University Malaysia Terengganu, I have my matriculation at Kolej Matrikilasi Pahang, Gambang. I am graduated with Applied Science of Biodiversity Conservation and Management. After graduated, I have previously worked as a GSTT teacher at SMK Tok Dor, Besut for couple years. In the same time I also take several tuition classes taught Science for primary school and Biology for secondary school. It has been such a pleasure to teach young students whom will take up challenge to be future leaders. My greatest believe is to teach with passion and integrity. As an educator I have to constantly upgrade myself to adapt new challenges in education era.
Currently, I further my study at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris in Master Education of Biology. It is totally different from my previous study because I have no study background about education. So, it is quite challenging for me taking this Master Education as next venture of upgrading my abilities as an educator in future. This challenger will make me always trying hard and do the best. Another way, this stage may be as stepping stone for my highest education level in future. I opted to take Biology Education as it was closely related to my subject at first degree level and since I love it so much.
I feel very lucky when I have an opportunity to create an educational blog since I am taking for ICT in Science Education course, SBP6024 (Innovation And Technology In Teaching And Learning Biology), I had learn so many new ICT lessons which are very challenging to me since I am not familiar with all sorts of the things and not IT savvy person. Using Smart board, creating album using Picasa, making hyperlinks, creating teaching tools using Lecture Maker application and so on helped me for some golden experiences and gain more than thousand knowledge for me. E-Portfolio is also our main task for completing this course successfully.Hopefully through this E-Portfolio, I can share about my personal view of opinion in a professional manner, write about my education journey continuously, share my thoughts, opinion, experience and knowledge more often and controllable. I will never give up and take this challenge as my responsibility as a student. Thanks to all my friends who had helped me to accomplish in developing my own blog.
As conclusion, I wish my journey on knowing ICT integration can upgrade my teaching skills, enhance and broaden my mind on ICT world. The knowledge that I have obtained from developing blog is useful for. May be one day, I have opportunity to become a teacher or an educator, I can use my knowledge to attract my students. This Blog have really inspired me to become an ICT-based teacher which is not only focused on subject content only, but also applied modern technology that was continuously evolved around us to practice in our teaching and learning process. Now, it is proven that modern technology actually helps us, not make us difficult as people said before. I was so satisfied in learning to create this E-Port folio as it really fulfilled my needs as future technology-based knowledge teacher which can teach and educate our next generation better, for a better life.
